Vimy Pilgrimage Award (VPA)

Club Zone aligns with The Vimy Foundation

At Club Zone de Lachine we believe in encouraging young people to step into leadership, servitude, and community-minded action — and similar to the Beaverbrook Vimy Prize (BVP) we announced last spring, Club Zone is pleased to once again be aligned with The Vimy Foundation in promoting the Vimy Pilgrimage Award (VPA).

The VPA honours Canadian youth between the ages of 15-17 who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to their communities — through volunteering, service or positive action.

Winners of the VPA are awarded a fully-funded, week-long educational experience in Belgium and France, visiting key First World War sites, museums, cemeteries and battlefields — helping them connect Canada’s WWI legacy with their own role as citizen-leaders.

We strongly encourage our Club Zone members and local youth to consider this incredible opportunity — an experience that cultivates leadership, historical awareness and a global perspective.

Participate now!

The program is scheduled for April 3-11, 2026. Apply before November 25, 2025.
